Barou Sall

Barou Sall is a griot, a keeper of stories and history who passes them on through oral tradition and music. He regularly performs with Afro-pop superstar Baaba Maal– and in fact it was beneath Baaba Maal‘s mango tree that we met this fantastic musician. As his fingers danced across the strings of his delicate instrument, we were transfixed by the timeless melody that filled the air around us.
