Tanxugueiras

Tanxugueiras is the group that is challenging and changing the state's musical paradigm. Aida, Sabela and Olaia, with a totally different but recognizable sound, adapt traditional Galician music to current styles to give it a new life. The Galician group has opened wide the doors of the rest of the state's official languages ​​in the musical circuit, reaping successes, recognition and great visibility thanks to their music. Theirs is the merit of keeping tradition, language, folklore alive and giving it new meanings, to bring them to a massive audience and raise the focus of the different cultures and musics that coexist within a state.

To their credit, they have massive and historic concerts such as the one at the Coliseum of A Coruña, being the first group in Galician to achieve the milestone of selling out the largest closed concert venue in the northwest of the state. Also the events at the Castrelos Auditorium in front of 40,000 attendees or the one at Riazor Beach at the Festival Noroeste Estrella Galicia, in front of 80,000 people, considered one of the most crowded concerts in history in Galicia. Theirs transcends live music, with an album, Diluvio, which has already accumulated more than 60 million plays on all digital platforms and which reached number 1 in sales in physical stores the week of its release.

After a 2024 in which they conquered large venues throughout the state, with a tour beginning in France, Tanxugueiras continues to expand their legacy. Their new live show, included under the AntesD tour, has the most dynamic and powerful character seen so far in the group, in a forceful proposal that elevates them to the forefront of national music. In 2025 they will close their tour with the last concerts that will take them again throughout the peninsula, showing their continuous exploration of new challenges and sonic possibilities in their songs and live shows.

The release of Pedindo Perdón or their collaborations with Shinova, Andrés Suárez, Valeria Castro or Hard GZ marked this last stage in which the group expanded its influence to new milestones, in which their participation in La Velada del Año, by the renowned streamer Ibai, stands out, in front of a full Santiago Bernabeu and millions of viewers in the live broadcast; or the performance of the Galician anthem in the Balaídos stadium during the return after almost a decade of the Galician football team. In this way, the group faces a year in which they hope to continue making history for grassroots music and the official languages.
