Welcome to episode two of our newest series Mark's Park. Filmed in front of a live audience in PFC co-founder/producer Mark Johnson's backyard in Venice Beach, California, this series brings together the diverse group of people who call Venice Beach home in an effort to not only foster community but help support the homeless youth within the community. A portion of the proceeds from Mark's Park will benefit our partner, Safe Place For Youth — empowering young people experiencing homelessness to thrive by providing lasting, community-driven solutions that address racial and social inequity.
This episode features 21st century blues singer/songwriter duo War & Pierce's Sunny War (vocals, acoustic guitar) and Chris Pierce (vocals, acoustic guitar) along with Paul Allen (percussion, background vocals), and Aroyn Davis (bass, background vocals). Performing original War & Pierce songs as well as original songs from both of their recent solo album releases that will make you think and feel, we invite you to turn it up and let the music inspire you to be the change you wish to see in the world.
Join us from Mark's home to yours, and together, let's help those who don't have a home.
