Welcome to our thirteenth episode of Mark’s Park: A Night with Kori Withers & Friends
Let the joy, nostalgia and impact of Bill Withers’ music captivate your soul as Kori Withers & Friends perform several of her father’s timeless classics, embodying the deep connection she shares with these beloved songs. This heartfelt performance and collective energy underscores the power of music to unite and heal and pays homage to the legacy of such a legendary artist.
Feel the essence of Bill Withers’ cherished song “Grandma’s Hands” with the beautifully illustrated children’s book, painted by multiple award-winning artist R. Gregory Christie and published by Joel Harper’s Freedom Three Publishing in collaboration with the Withers Family’s Mattie Music Group. “Grandma’s Hands” will debut on August 15, 2023 and is available for pre-order now at The Playing For Change Official Store.
Mark’s Park is filmed in front of a live audience in PFC co-founder/producer Mark Johnson's backyard in Venice Beach, California. This series brings together the diverse group of people, who call Venice Beach home, in an effort to connect the world through music. A portion of the proceeds from Mark's Park will benefit the Playing For Change Foundation—an international nonprofit organization, operating 20 music programs in 14 countries, established to create positive change through music and arts education.
