Born in Salvador, Brazil, Jorginho Gomes is a musician and composer who started to play at the young age of 12 years old and formed numerous bands at the age of 15.
He also accompanied numerous Brazilian artists such as Gal Costa, Moraes Moreira, Marisa Monte, Sandra de Sá, A Cor do Som, Luiz Melodia, Erasmo Carlos, Tim Maia, Ed Motta, Armandinho Macedo, among others.
