George Mumford Jr.

George Mumford Jr. was born in Greenville, MS on February 8th, 1992. He is a carpenter/painter (GM² Painting and Repairs) and a musician (drummer/bassist) from the Mississippi Delta (Leland, MS, home of Kermit the Frog). 

As the youngest of three, George's roots began deep in the church. He double majored in voice and percussion at Mississippi State University and participated in the choir. He also majored in Music Education and Entertainment Industry Studies at Delta State University

George was introduced to the blues by his childhood acquaintance, Keith Johnson, in 2013. They played for various blues artists together, until branching out and creating their own platform, transforming the relationship from mere acquaintances to an inseparable brotherhood. 

George's musical chapters are still being written as he continues to play blues all over the world.
