Hailing from Dartford, England, Keith grew up in a council estate in England, listening obsessively to Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters records. Best known from playing in The Rolling Stones, he is now a world-renowned guitarist and singer, holding a status of mythical proportions in the world of music. Rolling Stone Magazine has credited him for “rock’s greatest single body of riffs” on guitar, and ranked him 4th on its list of 100 best guitarists in music history. In 1989, he was elected into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In addition to music, Keith is also a film actor – most notably playing the role of Captain Jack Sparrow’s father in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. Keith’s musical career has influenced music globally, and he stands as a testament to the power one individual musician has to influence and change the world.
