On Thursday 23 July, UNFPA Executive Director Dr. Natalia Kanem will be joined by government and civil society leaders and other experts to discuss this question in the latest Nairobi Commitments/ICPD25: What’s Next? Global Thought Leadership Conversation. Participants will reflect on how we can build a better world, one that breaks the cycle of systemic inequalities and brings us unequivocally toward equal societies, free from discrimination, marginalization and racism.
The virtual moderated event will also include music and other performances by people of African descent and the African diaspora and Playing For Change co-founder Mark Johnson will join the conversation to share some exciting news!
The event will feature simultaneous interpretation in French, Portuguese and Spanish, as well as international sign language.
