Disney Medley / [When You Wish Upon a Star] [Under the Sea]

Miho Fukuhara is a Japanese soul and pop singer born in 1987 on the northern island of Hokkaido. Miho had access to her parents' huge record collection from an early age. She made her first notable achievement as early as 2002, when she impressed the judges of a local karaoke competition with her performance of Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You," but she didn't start her musical career until she graduated from high school.

She debuted under independent Yumecha Records in Sapporo, Japan with the single “The Roots” (2006) and her mini-album Step Out. Soon after she released her first major label single “Change” in 2008, reaching #3 in the Oricon Top 20.

Her successive single “Let it Out” was also a hit, being chosen as the ending theme of popular anime Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood in the same year. She released her second album, Music Is My Life, soon after in 2009.

Following this, she would release more conceptual EPs such as The Soul Extreme EP and The Soul Extreme EP II in 2011, an album mixing soul, R&B and pop.

In 2013, she was the first Japanese singer to be signed as the newest frontwoman of the worldwide pop music project Sweetbox – along with male singer/rapper, LogiQ Pryce, releasing their first single “#Z21 (#Zeitgeist21).”

Shortly after, Miho released her single “Rising Heart,” a song used in a national campaign for Coca-Cola.

Miho Fukuhara set up her own record label Happy Field Records after finishing her contract with Sony and released an EP entitled Something New on December 23, 2015.
