After graduating from Hamilton College, Doug began his career developing integrated marketing platforms for CNN and then TNT/TBS Sports clients (e.g. NFL, NBA, NASCAR...). After three years, Doug accepted the offer to establish the Los Angeles office for AtomFilms where he developed and funded some of the first sponsored entertainment films, games, and user-generated content initiatives online. After helping AtomFilms and later, Shockwave.com establish these pioneering initiatives, Doug left to pursue his true passion of producing socially conscious entertainment while continuing to provide online marketing solutions to numerous cause-driven companies, non-profits and organizations with New Media Strategies, and currently, Blue State Digital.
